Job summary

Community Mainstreaming is seeking a Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator in New York to oversee self-directed plans and budgets. You will process paperwork, bill for services, and work with participants, families, and vendors to ensure timely reimbursements.

The role requires detail-oriented collaboration, strong organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of OPWDD services. Full-time with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Self-Direction experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and three years in human health service field preferred.
• Three-year experience as Self-Directed Broker or related OPWDD position.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of OPWDD services and supports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Circles of Support and CMA Self-Direction Team to implement and manage self-directed plans and budgets.
• Maintain accurate copies of plans, budgets, and related service records for billing.
• Relay invoice concerns and staffing issues to senior staff and program directors.
• Organize reimbursement approvals in line with CMA policies.
• Report incidents to the Justice Center and Fiscal Intermediary; ensure understanding of reportable incidents.
