AHRC New York City is seeking a dedicated Fiscal Intervention Manager to oversee SD Participants, manage budgets, monitor billing, and ensure Medicaid eligibility. You will report to the FI Director and AVP of Fiscal Intermediary, maintaining a professional and compassionate image consistent with the organization's standards.

In this role you will work cross-functionally with Finance and other departments, coordinate enrollment and disenrollment in OPWDD TABS, review budgets, and support Circle

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in human services related field.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrate exactness in review of service and billing documentation.
• Exhibit a high degree of patience when navigating challenging interactions.
• Knowledge of clinical assessment tools and techniques for reviews of service needs and life plans.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate with effectiveness and clarity with various stakeholders.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities and OPWDD supports preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Aufgaben

• Responsible to the FI Director and AVP of Fiscal Intermediary.
• Project a professional, kind, and trustworthy image reflecting organizational standards.
• Carry individual caseload of SD Participants.
• Manage budgets, monitor costs and expenditures.
• Monitor EHR data and AR Billing Reports for Medicaid eligibility and budgeting alignment.
• Interface with Finance and other departments to ensure accurate reimbursements and processing.
• Interface with OPWDD TABS system for enrollment/disenrollment.
• Obtain required documentation to ensure billing and continuation of services.
• Maintain Broker Trainings/Follow-up.
• Review initial budgets and amendments before state submission.
• Attend Circle of Support meetings and Life Plan meetings.
• As a Circle of Support member, contribute to Life Plans and action plans.
• Provide education and guidance on OPWDD and NYS regulations.
• Partner with Participants, advocates, and professionals to ensure high care standards.
• Facilitate conversations with Participants and families to find collaborative solutions.
• Perform other program-related tasks as needed.
