Job summary

Golden Gate Regional Center Inc. seeks a Supervisor Social Worker to lead the Self Determination Program in a hybrid San Rafael setting. You will train staff, coordinate service arrangements, monitor SDP progress, and provide internal consultation within GGRC and with external partners.

The candidate will hold a MSW (clinical license preferred) with 4+ years post-master’s experience and 2+ years working with regional centers; strong documentation and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related human services field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Clinical License at time of hire and ability to maintain license in good standing preferred.
• 4+ years post-Master’s work with increasing responsibility; 2+ years Regional Center experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for SDP-related questions and training internally and externally.
• Initiates and responds to communications on service eligibility, standards, and problem solving.
• Develops program plans with clients and monitors results.
• Provides advocacy and trains individuals and families in advocacy.
• Maintains client records and produces required reports.
• Engages in Person-Centered planning meetings to develop IPs and budgets.
• Acts as GGRC staff support to SDLAC and attends monthly meetings.
• Completes funding of SDP budget and related reporting.
• May function as an Independent Facilitator for SDP guidance.
• Provides SDP information and updates on GGRC website; responds to [e-mail].
