Alta California Regional Center in California seeks a Client Services Manager to oversee the Self-Determination Unit, providing consultative support to case management and outreach for SDP services.

You will educate staff, clients and families on SDP and Person Centered Planning, support budgeting, and assist with documentation and reporting while coordinating with vendors and programs across the catchment area.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3 years in a human service agency, or Bachelor’s with 5 years in a human service agency; developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, requirements and policy standards.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
• Strong time-management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Self-Determination Unit and provide consultative and technical support.
• Educate staff, clients, families, and community members about SDP and Person Centered Planning.
• Support case management units in acquiring and maintaining services including transportation, training, education, and supports.
• Consult with vendors on certifications, applications, and referrals.
• Guide development and monitoring of SDP budgets and spending plans.
• Provide forms, documentation, and reporting guidance per regulations.
• Assist coworkers with special projects and provide emergency on-call support.
