Job summary

San Andreas Regional Center in California seeks a Self Determination Supervisor to support SDP and Traditional case management units, and to act as an agency and community liaison.

The SDP Supervisor will maintain public relations, implement the center's goals under the Lanterman Act, and coordinate services with DDS and community partners to ensure SDP access for participants and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, rehabilitation counseling or related field; or BA in Social Work plus 4 years of experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of self-determination program, policy, regulations and implementation
• Ability to relate constructively to a wide range of individuals and organizations; maintain rapport and case records

Responsibilities

• Understand self-determination program, policy, regulation and implementation.
• Attend and present at community events.
• Maintain data in the SDP Master List.
• Develop and conduct training for IFs and FMS agencies on SARC procedures.
• Attend SDP meetings with community partners including SDAC and DDS.
• Provide support for SDP budgets and spending plans; assist in SDP documentation and reports.
