Job summary

San Andreas Regional Center seeks a Self Determination Supervisor to support the Self-Determination and Traditional case management units, coordinating services under the Lanterman Act. The role involves public relations, policy execution, and agency-wide liaison work to advance SDP goals.

You will lead training for agencies, participate in SDP meetings with partners, and supervise staff while ensuring accurate documentation and budget oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, rehabilitation counseling or a related field from an accredited college.
• Knowledge of self-determination program, policy, regulations and implementation.
• Ability to prepare and present oral and written reports; maintain case records clearly and timely.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the self-determination program, policy, regulation and implementation.
• Attend self-determination meetings with community partners including SDAC and DDS.
• Develop and conduct training for IFs and FMS agencies on SARC procedures.
• Attend SDP IPP meetings to provide support.
• Provide ongoing training and directions to the SDP secretary.
• Manage unit secretary to ensure documentation is uploaded for audits.
