The role requires 18+ with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashier experience. You should be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of cashier experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee self-checkout units and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Assist customers as they scan, weigh and pay for items.
• Serve multiple customers and anticipate issues.
• Answer questions and resolve scanning/payment issues.
• Monitor scanning accuracy and process flow.
• Encourage customers to use self-checkout lanes when lines form.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and store promotions.
• Keep self-checkout areas clean and orderly.
