Job summary

Food Lion is seeking an enthusiastic Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the self-checkout area and help customers complete purchases efficiently. You will greet customers, assist with self-checkout, and maintain a clean, organized front-end area in a busy store environment.

Prioritize accuracy, courtesy, and safety while supporting associates and contributing to a positive shopping experience for all customers in Spring Hope, NC.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to customers.
• Greet customers and use their name when possible.
• Assist customers with Self-checkouts and hand scanner for fast checkout.
• Monitor self-checkouts and ensure proper item scanning.
• Maintain neat, clean self-checkout area and follow safety standards.
