• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate customer service at self-checkout.
• Monitor multiple self-checkout stations to ensure items are scanned and transactions are completed correctly.
• Respond quickly to customer questions, system alerts and requests for assistance.
• Perform authorized self-checkout functions such as voids, age-restricted items approvals, and payment assistance.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free, organized, and fully stocked self-checkout area.
• Troubleshoot basic self-checkout issues and report equipment concerns to management.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards and front-end procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by promoting proper scanning and transaction accuracy (BOB).
• Model professionalism through teamwork, customer focus, and adherence to Food Lion appearance standards.
