Everforth Apex is seeking a Selenium QA Engineer in Newark, Delaware, offering a hybrid work model. The role focuses on SIT and end-to-end testing to ensure business, technical, and functional requirements are met across the software development lifecycle.

You will design and execute test scripts, perform web services testing, and validate frontend, ETL, and database components, with a strong emphasis on automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of QA testing experience.

Job Description:

Selenium QA Engineer

Location: Newark, Delaware (Hybrid)

Role Overview

This position works with project teams to ensure standard quality practices and processes are followed. The role involves performing SIT and end-to-end testing on applications and technology to confirm that business, technical, and functional requirements are met throughout the software development lifecycle. The candidate will work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test scripts based upon test strategy and plans to identify defects prior to production.
• Perform SIT and End-to-end testing on applications and technology.
• Execute manual and automated scripts for Production Certification to certify production health and identify post-production defects.
• Conduct Web Services testing, including Soap UI/XML and REST/JSON.
• Perform Frontend, ETL, and Database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries.
• Handle log and file validations manually.

Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in QA testing is required.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of and working experience with Agile testing methodology.
• Hands‑on experience in Web Services testing (Soap UI/XML, REST/JSON, MQ) and Unix.
• Experience with Frontend, ETL, and Database testing.
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
• At least 2 years of Selenium Automation experience.
• Experience with Unix commands.
• Familiarity with tools such as SQL Putty, Soap UI, WinSCP, App Watch MQ, Splunk, JBoss, Autosys, TOAD, HP ALM, and JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications

• API testing experience.
• Middleware MQ/Kafka testing experience.
