Job summary

The Springfield City School District is seeking an Intervention Specialist at Snyder Park Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year, in Columbus, Ohio. This contracted role supports students with diverse backgrounds, focusing on SEL and restorative practices, data-driven instruction, and IEP development.

The position includes a 183-day work year, 7.25 hours daily, and a starting salary of $44,692 with increases for education and experience; SEA benefits apply, plus a $1,600 annual

Qualifications

Must possess or be able to obtain an Intervention Specialist license or supplemental license issued by the Ohio Department of Education.
Ability to lead school-wide restorative practices professional development.
Willingness to participate in professional development sessions.

Responsibilities

Differentiate instruction effectively.
Analyze data to plan instruction aligned to Ohio Academic Standards.
Instruct and manage whole and small groups.
Experience writing standards-based IEPs.
Use research-based pedagogy with content knowledge.
Develop lessons and materials for individualized and small groups.
Engage at-risk students with varied learning styles.
