Job summary

You will differentiate instruction, analyze data to align with standards, and collaborate with a diverse team to support diverse learners and at-risk students.

Qualifications

• Possesses or has applied for an Intervention Specialist license or can obtain one through Ohio Department of Education.
• Ability to lead professional development of school-wide restorative practices.
• Be willing to attend/participate in professional development sessions and serve on teams.
• Have the ability to relate to and teach students from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm in the role.

Responsibilities

• Differentiate instruction effectively.
• Accurately analyze data to plan instruction aligned to state standards.
• Manage and instruct whole and small groups.
• Have experience with writing standards-based IEPs.
• Use research-based pedagogy with strong content knowledge.
• Develop lesson plans and materials for individual and small-group instruction.
• Engage at-risk students with appropriate strategies.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of educators and administrators.
• Utilize technology to strengthen teaching and learning.
• Participate in professional development aligned with district goals.
