Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace seeks a seasoned SEIT Chief Engineer for the SAOC program to lead system engineering, integration, verification, validation, and test across IPTs. This role demands cross-domain leadership across software, hardware, avionics, cyber, and safety domains.

The position requires substantial experience in SEIT leadership and a DoD Top Secret clearance; onsite work in Richardson, TX is expected with global collaboration across RTX entities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a SEIT IPT Lead, Chief Engineer, Program Engineer, or IPT Lead on a major program.
• Experience managing large software and systems development programs across multiple environments.
• Strong knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines, including large-scale software development, IPDS, and EVMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level technical leadership for SAOC SEIT activities.
• Govern the end-to-end technical baseline and verification strategies.
• Drive system-level integration from lab environments through ground and flight testing.
