Job summary

KarstAlert® is seeking a geophysics analyst to apply advanced seismic imaging and machine learning to microseismic projects, including EGS development, CCS, ISM, sinkhole detection and FDIs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a geoscience or related field and at least 3 years of experience. Remote work is possible, with collaboration across multiple sites and direct reports to the Analysis team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a geoscience, physics, engineering or applied math field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in geophysics or related seismic fields.
• Experience with seismic data systems, acquisition practices or field processes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team across locations.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret geologic and seismic data; refine data for calculations, time/depth reports, and QA of processing outputs.
• Apply seismic interpretation tools and programming to enable data exchanges between databases.
• Prepare technical reports with the team; ensure client and company deliverables meet standards.
• Produce final project reports and deliver client-ready documents.
• Deliver client presentations; communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
• Field work may be required in a real-time capacity.
