Responsibilities

• Lead training sessions for new hires and experienced team members.
• Create new training plans as technologies are implemented.
• Robot programming (offline and/or online).
• Verify new model equipment meets standards and functions correctly.
• Prepare and confirm new Body equipment at vendors.
• Support Seibi activities from installation to production start across NAMCs.
• Develop equipment countermeasures during setup and trials.
• Travel to U.S., Canada, Mexico, and international destinations (Japan, etc.).
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Seibi Technician Trainer for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $45.00 - $50.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Description:

• Lead training sessions with both new hires and experienced members within the BPE organization
• Create new training plans as new technologies are implemented
• Offline and/or online robot programming
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended
• Prepare and confirm new Body equipment at the vendors
• Support Machine Seibi activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production
• Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials
• Engage in travel (or dispatch) to U.S., Canada and/or Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel including Japan, Canada, and Mexico.
• Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Current or recent Seibi or automotive maintenance experience 10 years+
• Toyopuc PLC troubleshooting and logic updates experience –10 years +
• Omron PLC troubleshooting and logic updates experience – 3 years+
• Experience with MS Office, including Excel, Powerpoint, Word & Outlook – Proficient
• Training experience in Seibi technical group or maintenance – 10yrs+
• Ability to train others in classroom environment and OJT
• Willing and able to travel up to 25% (including international travel – Japan, Canada, Mexico, TX).
• Willing and able to work up to 50% OT and weekends as needed – (As per the need – 25% - 50%)
• People Management - Need to work well with people
• Writing training curriculum.
• Need to go on floor as well.
• Hands on role along with the training – 50/50
