Magnit Direct Sourcing, on behalf of Toyota, seeks a Technician (Quality Seibi) for a 12-month contract in Georgetown, Kentucky. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in automotive/aerospace quality metrology, and is proficient with PolyWorks, FARO, Vectorarm, Leica, and related software.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years automotive/aerospace quality metrology (sheet-metal QA)
• Experience with portable CMM equipment, scanners, laser trackers (FARO, Vectorarm, Leica, Creaform)
• Experience with 3D comparison software (PolyWorks, Cam 2, Scene, PC DMIS)
• Strong mechanical ability with small hand tools
• MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word proficiency
• Able to create and maintain schedules
• Willing to work weekends/holidays/overtime
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Able to perform medium-heavy physical work
• Flexible and adaptable to daily changes
• Self-starter and motivated to improve skills and new tech

Responsibilities

Job description

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Technician (Quality Seibi) for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $35.00- $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Description:

• Checking body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm, Perceptron, & FARO portable CMM equipment.
• Gather part information from Digital Engineering systems, i.e., PolyWorks, Catia and 3D imaging software.
• Checking part quality using hand tools and quality checking fixtures.
• Support Sheetmetal Sub-assy. and Body build trials and activities during pre-production events.
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, parts, and part fitting.
• Analyze part and sub-assembly data and provide feedback to project leader(s).

Qualifications:

• 2-5 Years Automotive/ Aerospace Quality Metrology experience (Sheet-metal QA)
• Capable of using portable CMM equipment, Scanners, Laser Trackers.(FARO, Vectorarm, Leica, Creaform).
• Experience with 3D comparison softwares like PolyWorks, Cam 2, Scene, PC DMIS.
• Strong mechanical ability. Small hand tools for adjusting / modifying part datums.
• Strong Computer skills, including MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Able to create and maintain schedules.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, off shifts, and overtime.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to handle medium to heavy physical work.
• Ability to be flexible and adjust to changes that may occur daily.
• Be a self-starter and self-motivated to continuously improve skills and new tech.
