Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is hiring a Technician (Quality Seibi) for a 12-month assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky. You will verify part accuracy using CMMs and hand tools, gather data from PolyWorks/Catia, and support pre-production trials while troubleshooting and analyzing data for the team.

The role requires 2-5 years of automotive/aerospace metrology experience, familiarity with portable CMMs, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word; able to schedule work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts with hand tools and fixtures for quality.
• Support sheetmetal sub-assembly and body build trials pre-production.

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Technician (Quality Seibi) for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $35.00- $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Description

• Checking body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm, Perceptron, & FARO portable CMM equipment.
• Gather part information from Digital Engineering systems, i.e., PolyWorks, Catia and 3D imaging software.
• Checking part quality using hand tools and quality checking fixtures.
• Support Sheetmetal Sub-assy. and Body build trials and activities during pre-production events.
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, parts, and part fitting.
• Analyze part and sub-assembly data and provide feedback to project leader(s).

Qualifications

• 2-5 Years Automotive/ Aerospace Quality Metrology experience (Sheet-metal QA)
• Capable of using portable CMM equipment, Scanners, Laser Trackers. (FARO, Vectorarm, Leica, Creaform).
• Experience with 3D comparison softwares like PolyWorks, Cam 2, Scene, PC DMIS.
• Strong mechanical ability. Small hand tools for adjusting / modifying part datums.
• Strong Computer skills, including MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Able to create and maintain schedules.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, off shifts, and overtime.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to handle medium to heavy physical work.
• Ability to be flexible and adjust to changes that may occur daily.
• Be a self-starter and self-motivated to continuously improve skills and new tech.
