Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Weld Seibi Tech for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $34.00 - $40.00/Hr.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K. The role involves supporting new model Chassis Seibi project activities at facilities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, including equipment inspection and preparation for manufacturing production.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing equipment inspection and validation.
• Experience in robotics programming is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Offline and/or online robot programming.
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
• Prepare and confirm new Body Chassis equipment at the vendors.
• Support Body Chassis Seibi activity at NAMCs from installation to the start of production.
• Participate in effective written and verbal communication with team members and management regarding issues.
• Promote teamwork and conduct On the Job Training (OJT) with hands-on tasks.
• Support Chassis Seibi projects and travel to NAMCs, suppliers, and possibly Japan, Canada, and Mexico.

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Weld Seibi Tech for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $34.00 - $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Who we’re looking for:

• The primary responsibility of this role is to support new model Chassis Seibi project activities at various U.S., Canada and Mexico facilities, including the inspection and confirmation of new or modified equipment and the preparation of that equipment for manufacturing production.
• The person in this role will support the Body Chassis Production Engineering Department's objective to deploy or modify welding equipment to facilitate the new model launch and support manufacturing production changes while meeting all targets for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost. This person will foster an environment of good communication, problem-solving, kaizen, team safety, and standardized work adherence.

What you’ll be doing:

• Offline and/or online robot programming.
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
• Prepare and confirm new Body Chassis equipment at the vendors.
• Support Body Chassis Seibi activity at NAMCs from installation to the start of production.
• Participate in effective written and verbal communication with Machine Seibi Team Members, Project Leaders, Management, and outside groups regarding issues that require resolution.
• Promote teamwork and conduct On the Job Training (OJT) with ‘hands‑on’ tasks.
• Support Chassis Seibi projects and engage in travel (or dispatch) to U.S., Canada, and/or Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel, including Japan, Canada, and Mexico. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
