Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is hiring a Weld Seibi Tech for a 12-month temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky. The role involves supporting new model Chassis Seibi activities across U.S., Canada, and Mexico facilities, including equipment inspection and preparation for production.

You will assist in deploying or modifying welding equipment for the new model launch, aiming for safety, quality, productivity and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Travel required: 50% (International)
• Shift timings: 9 AM to 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Offline and/or online robot programming.
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
• Prepare and confirm new Body Chassis equipment at the vendors.
• Support Body Chassis Seibi activity at NAMCs from installation to the start of production.
• Participate in effective written and verbal communication with Machine Seibi Team Members, Project Leaders, Management, and outside groups regarding issues that require resolution.
• Promote teamwork and conduct On the Job Training (OJT) with hands-on tasks.
• Support Chassis Seibi projects and engage in travel (or dispatch) to U.S., Canada, and/or Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel, including Japan, Canada, and Mexico. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Weld Seibi Tech for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $34.00 - $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Who We're Looking For

• The primary responsibility of this role is to support new model Chassis Seibi project activities at various U.S., Canada and Mexico facilities, including the inspection and confirmation of new or modified equipment and the preparation of that equipment for manufacturing production.
• The person in this role will support the Body Chassis Production Engineering Department's objective to deploy or modify welding equipment to facilitate the new model launch and support manufacturing production changes while meeting all targets for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost. This person will foster an environment of good communication, problem-solving, kaizen, team safety, and standardized work adherence.
