Specifically responsible for Divisional Segment Purchasing of Metals, in support of multiple Product Lines. Works within a purchasing team to create a purchasing strategy for a segment of goods. Supports Product Area Manager & Global Lead Buyer. Evaluates vendor quotes, services, and savings, to determine the most desirable suppliers. Works all aspects of vendor relationship management and lifecycle. Supports divisional workshops & Zero-Defect Strategy with Supplier Quality.

Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function as it relates specifically to Raw Materials purchasing, new technology and manufacturing methods.
