Job description

Responsibilities
  • Design and plan layout for material-processing/manufacturing operations.
  • Plan sequence of operations and specify procedures for building products.
  • Provide services, troubleshoot and solve production process/equipment problems.
  • Provide feedback/recommendations to leadership as appropriate.
  • Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials/products.
  • Collaborate with other engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • Must be competent in the use of SolidWorks CAD.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree Technical Degree in Machine Build/Assembly field.
  • Must be competent in the use of SolidWorks CAD.
  • Understands designs and plans layout for material-processing/manufacturing operations.
  • Understands processing requirements in designing and acquiring processing equipment.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills in areas of process engineering and machine trouble shooting.
