Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• Purchasing knowledge in standard components, raw material trends, engineering and quality.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
• Strong organization, negotiation, communication and computer skills.
• Multi-tasking and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop a purchasing strategy for a segment of metals goods.
• Evaluate vendor quotes, services and savings to select top suppliers.
• Manage vendor relationships and life cycle activities.
• Support divisional workshops and zero-defect supplier quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Area Manager and Global Lead Buyer.
