Job summary

City Tech, part of the City University of New York, is seeking an Academic SEEK Program Director to lead the SEEK program with a focus on student success, retention, and equitable access. The role collaborates with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, and Student Affairs to strengthen academic support, advising, tutoring, and counseling services for SEEK students.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and eight years' relevant experience required.
  • Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, Education, or related field preferred.
  • Experience leading student success, retention, persistence, and graduation initiatives for diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the SEEK Program at City Tech, aligning with institutional priorities.
  • Develop a student-centered SEEK program model across recruitment, transition, persistence and graduation.
  • Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management and Student Affairs to enhance support services and retention strategies.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with campus offices to ensure coordinated SEEK student support.
  • Lead SEEK Summer Program planning, including preparation, orientation, and transition activities.
  • Support admissions and onboarding to identify and enroll eligible SEEK students.
  • Develop assessment strategies to evaluate program effectiveness and inform improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with CUNY, NYSED, and other regulations governing opportunity programs.
