Job summary

Vylor, in Johnston IA, is seeking a Seeds Production Services Lead to develop and execute procurement strategies supporting North America seed production. You’ll manage supplier performance, governance, and a ~ $150M annual spend, partnering with Seed Operations and Finance to optimize value.

This hybrid role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and experience with SAP/SAP Ariba/Coupa.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
Experience managing complex supplier portfolios in operations or agriculture.
Proven track record in supplier management and contract negotiations.
Strong knowledge of sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Seed Production Services across North America.
Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, onboarding, and category management for temporary labor and field services.
Partner with operations and stakeholders to drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and value creation.
Ensure contract governance and continuous improvement across procurement processes.
Lead and mentor one procurement professional while collaborating across the organization.
