Vylor is seeking a Global Operations Engineering Leader in Johnston, IA to drive the engineering strategy for the global Seed Operations network. You will lead manufacturing automation, asset reliability, and capital projects to ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable operations.

The role requires 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership in manufacturing, with a track record of multi-site/ global leadership and governance that enables operational excellence and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership in manufacturing/operations.
• Experience leading multi-site/global engineering teams and large-scale capital projects.
• Proven ability to establish engineering standards, governance, and execution of operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global engineering strategy for Seed Operations globally.
• Lead engineering, manufacturing automation, asset reliability, and capital project execution.
• Establish and govern engineering standards, processes, and best practices for safe, reliable operations.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvements for safety, quality, productivity, and scalability.
• Drive asset reliability, maintenance excellence, lifecycle management, and equipment performance.
• Oversee capital project planning, prioritization, and on-time delivery within budget.
• Promote operational excellence through standardization, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Support safety, quality, compliance, sustainability, and risk management enterprise objectives.
• Develop metrics and governance to measure engineering effectiveness and drive accountability.
• Build and lead a high-performing global engineering organization; attract and retain top talent.
