Nutrien is seeking an Associate-level Seed Sales professional for our Glasgow, KY location. The role focuses on increasing sales of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizers while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in agriculture sales, familiarity with agricultural chemicals, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. This is an on-site position with Nutrien Ag Solutions and a path toward growth within the company.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred, or equivalent experience in the agriculture field.
• 5+ years agriculture experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience in the agriculture industry and application of agricultural chemicals is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including on-time delivery and quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe actions to resolve issues.
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk and assist Credit Manager with credit limits.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivable from customers.
