Job summary

GDM Seeds is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to support sales growth and operational efficiency. This role coordinates product requests, shipments, and settlements while aligning with Finance, Supply Chain, and Product Management.

The successful candidate will be based near Westfield, IN; Battle Creek, NE; or St. Francisville, IL, with relocation or commutable distance as required. This position emphasizes data integrity and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or sales support.
• Knowledge of the seed or agricultural industry preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, responsive customer service to internal sales teams and external customers.
• Manage assigned customer accounts, including product requests, order coordination, shipment execution, and account settlement.
• Serve as the primary Sales Support expert for the assigned region, providing guidance on processes, systems and account activity.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of key deliverables.
• Maintain and safeguard data integrity for assigned accounts in systems and reporting.
• Provide system and transaction processing support to ensure sales activities comply with controls.
• Influence account behavior to align with plans and new processes or tools.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and subject matter expertise.
• Ensure compliance with timelines and brand directives.
