Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or Bachelor’s in an agricultural related field or working towards one.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Heartland Co-op trade area.

Responsibilities

• Support Regional Seed Advisors and the Seed Sales Manager.
• Engage with vendors and locations on seed ordering, delivery, and treatment.
• Collaborate with agronomy sales team to determine patron needs and implement programs.
• Collect and evaluate performance of hybrids and varieties in Heartland Co-op seed plots.
• Scout patron fields containing Heartland seed hybrids and varieties; develop solutions for field problems.
• Assist to build strategic marketing plans for upcoming crop seasons.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and commercial insurability at all times.
