Job summary

Vylor is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for our Renwick, Iowa location. You’ll operate process equipment, follow Safety Plans, and collect data to support continuous improvement in seed production.

The role involves working with automation, warehousing tasks, and potentially field activities with growers and contractors. We value safety, flexibility for rotating shifts (including weekends/holidays), and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and ability to obtain GED within one year.
• Legal to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Willing to work a rotating shift including weekends/holidays during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment following safety policies.
• Follow Quality Plan Work Instructions and requirements.
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement projects and production records.
• Support preventative maintenance (PM) and other general repair efforts.
• Lead or support a defined safety program to enhance site safety.
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, computers, iPads).
• Potential field management activities and relationships with growers/contractors.
• Assist with harvest activities and related processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
