Job summary

Bayer seeks a Seed Technician for the Waco facility in Nebraska. The role focuses on operating production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and driving continuous improvement with lean methods. You will support field activities and ensure adherence to safety and QA/QC standards.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and basic IT skills; SAP/PLC experience is preferred. Eligible to drive, able to lift 60 lbs, and willing to work rotating shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required.
• Valid driver's license; MVR review.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in production sites and use real-time data to optimize procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot equipment, processes, and systems as needed.
• Support 5S, Lean and Six Sigma for a clean, organized environment.
• Coach and train seasonal workforce and area trainees.
