Job summary

Bayer seeks a Seed Technician in Matthews, MO to operate equipment, use real-time data, and support continuous improvement across plant operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, SAP documentation, and leading shift activities while ensuring safety and quality standards. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to work a 24/7 rotating schedule with overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic IT knowledge (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Valid Drivers' License; driving record reviewed for company car use.
• Able to lift 60 lbs.
• Willing to work days, nights, rotating shifts, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and use real-time data to optimize procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections; troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Support plant areas in continuous improvement (5S, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Use SAP to document readings, maintenance orders and production information.
• Lead daily direction setting meetings and allocate resources across shifts.
