Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Seed Technician at the Matthews facility to operate equipment, analyze real-time data and support continuous improvement, including safety and QA/QC adherence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic IT skills including Windows applications.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lb and perform rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and use real-time data to optimize procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Provide coaching to seasonal workforce and trainees.
• Use SAP to document readings, maintenance orders, and production info.
• Maintain procedures, diagrams, and standard work documents.
