Job summary

Remington Seeds is seeking a Location Manager to own all activities at the Illinois location, driving customer satisfaction, fiscal responsibility, and process efficiency.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, conduct annual reviews, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while maximizing seed production quality and implementing the ISO Quality Management System at the site.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Agriculture preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise all employees at the location.
• Conduct annual reviews with all employees.
• Provide a safe work environment through safety programs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction for seed produced, processed, or distributed from the location.
• Maximize production of seed meeting quality specifications.
• Implement ISO Quality Management System at the location.
• Communicate location strategy to staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet needs.
• Develop the annual location budget and monitor spending.
• Evaluate capacity vs. needs and recommend capital improvements.
• Initiate problem solving to improve location performance.
