Job summary

Barkley Seed is seeking a Forklift Driver to support our agricultural seed and feed product operations. You will operate forklifts to move materials, assist mill staff, and ensure accurate handling during conditioning and packaging processes.

Qualifying candidates will have forklift experience, at least one year in a warehouse, and the ability to work shifts seasonally. The role requires a valid driver’s license and offers an on-site, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience safely operating forklift, dollies and other loading equipment.
• Warehouse experience: 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently to move seed, grain and packaged goods.
• Assist mill workers and staff under supervision of the production supervisor.
• Move materials for conditioning and packaging operations.
• Maintain seed lot integrity per Barkley Seed standards.
• Ensure sanitation and organization for a safe environment.
• Load/unload truck trailers.
• Keep written records and use system interfaces when needed.
• Clean up spills and report process deviations.
