Job summary

Wyffels Hybrids Inc in Atkinson, IL is seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals to join our harvest-season warehouse team as Seasonal Warehouse Forklift Operators. You will safely operate forklifts and move seed corn across the facility, with training provided if you’re new to the role.

Shifts vary (1st and 2nd) with overtime during harvest; positions last about six weeks, with potential for extra work based on needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required (training will be provided).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime during harvest.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move seed corn throughout the warehouse.
• Load, unload, receive, and organize seed inventory.
• Stage products for shipping and production.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Perform inventory movement while maintaining product quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Work effectively as part of a team to support harvest operations.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance throughout the harvest season.
