Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Scientist or Geologist in the United States. Qualifications

• Experience leading teams on sediment remediation projects.
• Knowledge of sediment transport, site assessment, sampling/monitoring technologies, cap modeling, dredge approaches, remedial action design.
• Ability to communicate complex technical evaluations to clients and outside consultants.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and design sediment remediation plans for various settings.
• Apply principles of environmental science and engineering to sediment remediation projects.
• Support statistical analyses of environmental data sets.
• Serve as task manager on sediment projects, communicating strategy to clients and coordinating SME input.
• Lead staff in preparing/reviewing technical documents for regulatory compliance.
