CDM Smith in the United States is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Scientist or Geologist. The role requires leading a team of engineers and scientists on sediment remediation projects for federal and public sector clients, with emphasis on feasibility studies and design.

Candidates will apply knowledge of CERCLA-related processes, regulatory requirements, and data evaluations, while coordinating with clients and external consultants.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required; 7 years related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsabilidades

• Providing expertise evaluating the feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and preparing sediment remediation designs for various settings.
• Leading a team of engineers/scientists on sediment remediation projects for federal and public sector clients.
• Supporting mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data.
• Serving as CDM Smith’s task manager on sediment sites and communicating strategies to clients.
• Possessing deep CERCLA, GLLA, and related regulatory knowledge for contaminated sediment sites.
• Serving as technical liaison with clients, the public, and outside consultants.
