As a Security Officer X Ray Scanner Operator in North Andover, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will use X-ray screening and access-control processes to help maintain a secure environment. You will welcome employees and visitors, verify badges, monitor entry points, and use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate professionally. Pay Rate: $20.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal property in accordance with site access-control procedures and applicable screening requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of bags, packages, and other authorized items; document and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
