Allied Universal on-site security team in Austell, GA is seeking a full-time security professional to manage customer service, access control, and incident response at a logistics site.

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with established procedures, documenting and reporting prohibited items, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment to help deter unauthorized access and loss-related activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and operational spaces, reporting hazards and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
