Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Xray Image Review in North Andover, MA. The role is part-time with an hourly pay rate of $20.44.

You will screen people and items, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors in a tech/media environment. You will use technology to support screening, stay visible to deter incidents, and contribute to a secure workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Lincensing requirements may apply; driver’s license for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site procedures.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries per access control requirements and screening protocols.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry; maintain visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and professionally per site procedures.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of screening areas and entry points to report unusual activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access control requirements and established screening protocols.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry; maintain accurate visitor and access-related records as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
