Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer X Ray Screening in Londonderry, NH. This part-time role involves using X-ray screening to inspect packages and support secure operations at a logistics and distribution location.

You will provide customer service, monitor access, verify credentials, and respond calmly to incidents while helping deter unauthorized activity. The position is part-time with evening/night shifts.

Qualifications

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Computer or tablet use is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening are required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and other authorized items entering and leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for entry into designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business perimeter, loading areas, and parking locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
