Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Security Officer X Ray Systems Operator to protect client sites in Logistics & Distribution and other industries. You will screen people and belongings, monitor access points, and perform routine patrols while delivering professional customer service and clear communication.

As a Security Officer X Ray Systems Operator in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people and items, monitoring access points, and conducting routine patrols. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, shipments, and/or vehicles in accordance with applicable procedures and facility requirements.
• Verify identification, access credentials, and visitor authorization before permitting entry to controlled areas.
• Monitor access points, loading areas, and screening stations; report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
