Job summary

Leyden Solutions, Inc. is seeking a high-performing Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to support a client program. The ISD will analyze, design, develop, and maintain instructional content for web-based and instructor-led courses, while nurturing strategic client partnerships.

This hybrid role requires up to 1x weekly travel to Fort Meade, MD or the Washington, D.C. area and emphasizes applying ADDIE, developing eLearning and instructor-led formats, and ensuring security training

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design or Adult Education from an accredited university.
• In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience designing and developing online or instructor-led courses.
• Experience developing online or instructor-led courses in a Collaborative Learning Environment (e.g., Sakai) relevant to security topics.
• Experience in Instructional Systems Design for DoD Security Policy.
• Experience supporting CDSE, DCSA, or other security agencies in security-related training programs.
• Current TS/SCI Security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Support the client's Training Division, applying the ADDIE model to training products.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis with client personnel to identify security competencies and learning objectives.
• Develop front-end analysis, training design plans, storyboards, assessments, and beta tests for new development.
• Maintain existing products by updating storyboards and ensuring changes are applied by a client programmer.
• Create detailed course design documents, including content outlines, media treatments, and assessment strategies.
• Develop and update course storyboards for audio/text flow and graphic design for final products.
• Conduct and participate in beta tests and evaluate instructional effectiveness.
• Develop and update assessments and evaluate products for effectiveness.
