Qualifications

• Associate degree and 1 year of experience in the security industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Knowledge of training techniques suitable for different learning styles.
• Ability to use audio-visual equipment and personal computers.
• Oral and written communications skills; presentation and group facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers training programs for Security Officers and other employees.
• Trains employees and job candidates; conducts new employee orientation and mandatory licensing training.
• Develops training schedules in conjunction with management; coordinates activities to avoid conflicts with client schedules.
• Maintains records and prepares reports to evaluate training performance and trainee progress.
• Documents training as required for licensing and client contracts.
