Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience in security industry or equivalent
• Ability to train diverse learners and adapt to learning styles
• Proficient with computers and audio-visual equipment
• Must meet any applicable state licensing requirements for Security Officers

Responsibilities

• Train employees and job candidates; conduct new employee orientation, mandatory licensing training, on-the-job training, and health and safety training
• Ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training requirements; document training for licensing and client contracts
• Consult with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches
• Develop training schedules with management; coordinate training activities to avoid conflicts with client service schedules
• Follow instructional procedures or methods such as lectures, demonstrations, role playing, and computer-based training
• Organize training manuals, reference materials, testing and evaluation materials, multimedia aids, and other educational materials
• Maintain records and prepare reports to evaluate training performance and trainee progress
• Perform tasks of similar nature and scope as required for the site
