Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Site Trainer to coordinate and deliver training programs for Security Officers and other staff. This role ensures compliance with mandated training requirements and aligns with client contracts.

Responsibilities include conducting new employee orientation, licensing training, on-the-job training, and health and safety instruction, organizing materials, and maintaining records to evaluate performance.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills required.
• Ability to use audio-visual equipment and PCs.
• Oral and written communication skills; presentation and group facilitation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of training techniques suitable for different learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees and job candidates; conducts new employee orientation, mandatory licensing training, on-the-job training, and health and safety training.
• Ensures compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training requirements; documents training for licensing and client contracts.
• Confers with managers to determine training needs and approaches.
• Develops training schedules and coordinates activities with client service schedules.
• Uses instructional methods including lectures, demonstrations, role playing, and computer-based training.
• Organizes training manuals, materials, and testing/evaluation resources.
• Maintains records and prepares reports to evaluate training performance and trainee progress.
• Performs duties of a similar nature as required.
