Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Customer Service Application Security in Seattle. You will own security programs end to end, guide risk-based decisions, and partner with security engineers, SDEs and PMs to secure resources and drive launches.

The role blends strategy with hands-on delivery, maturing security practices across major initiatives while mentoring teammates and shaping the security roadmap for the coming year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience in system design.
• 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own security programs end to end, from requirements and threat modeling through implementation, launch, and post-launch support.
• Turn ambiguous security goals into specifications, prioritized milestones and success metrics.
• Partner with security engineers, software development engineers, and engineering managers to secure resources and gain buy-in.
• Own schedule, scope, and communication. Clear blockers and plan rollouts that keep programs running.
• Drive adoption of security automation and guidance across partner teams.
• Manage third-party providers and evaluate emerging tools.
• Run COE reviews and fold the lessons into future plans.
• Apply Agile, Lean or Kaizen methods to streamline security work.
• Write PR/FAQs, narratives and Operating Plan inputs. Mentor others and help hire.
