Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to own a company-wide portfolio of security programs spanning Trust & Safety Engineering, IAM, Platform Security, Security Operations, Product Security, and IT. This executive-facing role partners with C-suite, VPs of Engineering and Product, and senior architects to drive risk reduction and secure-by-default enhancements.

The position is on-site in Bellevue/Seattle, WA or San Francisco/Mountain View, CA, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience (not explicit but inferred from role requirements).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technical program management or equivalent leadership roles.
• Ability to translate security, privacy, policy, and compliance objectives into technical strategy and execution plans.
• Ability to resolve conflicting priorities and manage multi-team roadmaps without direct authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive audiences.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to accelerate strategy and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead a company-wide portfolio of security programs spanning Trust & Safety, IAM, Platform Security, Security Operations, Product Security, and IT.
• Drive prioritization, architecture alignment, investment planning, execution, adoption, and operationalization of security initiatives.
• Elevate security commitments in technical roadmaps and launch processes; communicate risk and options to executives.
• Mentor TPMs and strengthen technical program leadership across the organization.
• Represent security architecture and posture in executive reviews and relevant industry forums.
