Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute’s Critical Infrastructure Business Line seeks a Test Engineer to lead and/or support the research, development, test, and evaluation of security systems for the Department of Homeland Security. This is a full-time, on-site position at Crystal City Operations in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities include test planning and execution, data collection and analysis, and technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 2+ years of relevant experience (master or PhD also acceptable).
• Must be a self-starter and team player; travel up to 25% annually.
• Sole U.S. citizen eligible for DoD Secret Clearance and TSA suitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support test planning, execution, data analysis, and report writing.
• Engage with IPTs, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance technologies.
• Interact with clients regularly; work in field and laboratories; document ISO 9001 knowledge.
