Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) seeks a Security Technology Specialist to ensure the stability and security of agency-wide security technology systems for MNIT and the Department of Corrections. You will support operations, coordinate hardware upgrades, and manage device lifecycles.

The role requires onsite work at 1450 Energy Park Drive in St. Paul with up to 50% telework and travel as needed. Join a team protecting critical government networks and services.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience with PCs, servers and LANs.
• Experience with hardware, operating systems, networking, databases, data comms, and video management systems.
• Knowledge of access control and perimeter protection systems.
• Working knowledge of computer programming.
• Clear, effective communication and customer-focused problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Provide tier two support for facility Information Systems and security tech.
• Coordinate hardware implementations and validate hardware standards.
• Upgrade security technology software and manage device hardware lifecycle.
• Collaborate with MNIT DOC Security Tech Support and Enterprise Services to meet goals.
